Yes. Reservations are confirmed only on receipt of the required advance payment. A booking confirmation is sent via WhatsApp, email, or SMS once payment is received. Peak season (October to January) and public holiday bookings require advance payment to hold the room.

Yes. When booking via WhatsApp or phone, simply tell us your interests and we will recommend and include the most suitable package. Options include the Honeymoon Package (from ₹ 15,999), the Explore Kollengode Package (from ₹ 9,999), and custom activity combinations. Activities can also be added on arrival at the resort.

October to March is peak season - ideal weather, clear viewpoints, and good waterfall flow. Book 2–3 weeks in advance. June to September (monsoon) brings dramatic misty scenery and powerful waterfalls - a beautiful, underrated time to visit. April to May offers the best discounts and quietest atmosphere. Book at least 7 days in advance in any season.

Yes. We host family gatherings, corporate team outings, anniversaries, and small private celebrations. Group bookings can include customised menus, outdoor event setups, activity programs, and decoration. Please contact us at least 7 days in advance via WhatsApp or email info@seetharkunduresorts.com with your group size and requirements.

All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID - Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, or Voter ID. Foreign nationals must present a valid Passport and Visa. This is a mandatory legal requirement under hotel registration regulations and is not optional.

Seetharkundu Resorts is open 7 days a week, 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM. For early-morning activities such as pre-dawn Meenampara viewpoint trips (departing 5:00 AM), please inform our team the previous evening via WhatsApp so we can prepare accordingly.

Yes. Seetharkundu Resorts is a safe, family-run eco-property with a trained, locally-hired staff team. The resort, its trails, and all activities are fully guided and monitored. The Kollengode community is welcoming and peaceful. Solo women travellers are advised to inform reception of planned trail walks so our team can coordinate guide accompaniment.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Loud music and disturbances during these hours are not permitted, out of respect for fellow guests and for the wildlife in the surrounding forest. The resort’s peaceful, natural atmosphere is one of its most valued features - we ask all guests to help preserve it.

Peak season (October to January) and public holiday bookings may carry stricter terms - these are communicated clearly at the time of booking.

Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 7–14 working days to the original payment source. UPI and bank transfer refunds typically process faster. Please contact us at info@seetharkunduresorts.com with your booking reference to initiate the refund process.

Yes. Date modifications can be accommodated subject to room availability. Contact us as early as possible via WhatsApp or phone. Modifications within 7 days of check-in are subject to availability and management discretion. We will always do our best to find a mutually convenient solution.

We do not have a swimming pool - by design. As a nature-first eco-resort, we believe the Seetharkundu Waterfalls and natural forest streams are far more rewarding than any chlorinated pool. Guests are guided safely to the waterfall pool area under supervision.

Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and common areas. Connectivity is reliable for standard work, communication, and streaming. In a hill-edge location, speeds may vary during peak hours. Jio, Airtel, and BSNL mobile networks provide good coverage at the resort premises.

Yes. Extra beds and baby cots can be arranged subject to availability and room size. Extra bed charges apply. Mention your requirement at booking so it is ready on arrival. Children below 12 may stay complimentary without an extra bed when sharing with parents.

All rooms are provided with standard toiletries (soap, shampoo, towels), mineral water, bed linen, and daily housekeeping. As an eco-resort we minimise single-use plastics - we encourage guests to bring reusable water bottles which can be refilled throughout the resort. Additional items can be requested from housekeeping.

Yes. Room service is available on request during resort operating hours (7 AM to 11:30 PM). Meals, beverages, and snacks from the in-house restaurant menu can be delivered to your room. Advance notice for meal orders (at least 30–45 minutes) is appreciated to ensure freshness.

Yes. The guided waterfall trail from the resort is well-maintained and suitable for most fitness levels including seniors and children. Guides accompany all visits, enforce safe viewing distances, and assist throughout. Do not enter the water pool, particularly during or after rainfall when currents can be dangerous.

The waterfall walk, plantation tour, village walks, and cycling can usually be arranged on the day. The following require advance booking: Nelliyampathy full-day trek, Meenampara sunrise trip (depart 5 AM), campfire evening, candlelight dinner, and couples herbal spa. Mention your preferred activities when booking your room and we will pre-schedule everything.

Thamarapadam is a spectacular seasonal lotus lake 5 km from the resort - thousands of pink and crimson lotus flowers bloom across a vast wetland every monsoon season. Peak bloom is August to November, with October typically the most impressive. We monitor bloom status and can advise on the best morning to visit. Full Thamarapadam guide.

Drone operations at the resort require prior written management approval. All flights must comply with India’s UAS Rules 2021 (DGCA), including valid UIN registration. Drone flights over the waterfall zone, forest areas, and Thamarapadam are prohibited at all times to protect wildlife. Contact us in advance if you plan to bring a drone.

Yes. We arrange guided transport for all sightseeing trips from the resort - Meenampara, Nelliyampathy tea estates, Angamoozhy Reservoir, Pothundi Dam, Palakkad Fort, Malampuzha Gardens, and Dhoni Waterfalls. All trips are guided, with timing and stops planned by our local team. Book via WhatsApp the evening before your desired trip date.

Yes. Complimentary Kerala breakfast is included with all room bookings. It is freshly prepared each morning - traditional Kerala items including idli, puttu, appam, and seasonal accompaniments. Breakfast can be served in the dining area or on your private balcony on request.

Yes. Vegetarian, Jain, and other dietary needs are accommodated. Mention requirements at booking. Our kitchen uses locally sourced fresh produce and can adapt most dishes. The restaurant menu is primarily Kerala cuisine with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Yes. Candlelight dinners on the hillside terrace or garden are popular with couples and honeymooners. Request at least 6 hours in advance via WhatsApp or at check-in. Included in our Honeymoon Package.

Alcohol consumption is permitted in designated resort areas only and responsibly. We do not have an on-site bar. Consumption in forest areas, on trails, and near the waterfall is prohibited due to fire risk and environmental regulations. Public intoxication that disturbs fellow guests or staff will not be tolerated.

Yes. BBQ spreads and campfire evenings with food arrangements are available October to February when fire risk is low. We set up a dedicated outdoor fire area with seating, snacks, chai, and optional BBQ. Campfire evenings must be booked in advance. Not available March to May due to high fire season.

90 km - approximately 2 hours via NH 544 (Coimbatore–Palakkad Highway) and then south toward Kollengode. Pre-booking a cab from the airport is recommended for the most comfortable journey.

Yes. Complimentary pickup from Kollengode town for all guests. Pickup from Palakkad Railway Station or Coimbatore Airport can be arranged at an additional charge. Mention your arrival details when booking so we can schedule the pickup.

Yes. Free secure on-site parking is available for all guests and their vehicles. Day visitors wishing to visit Seetharkundu Waterfalls may also use the parking area with our permission.

Yes. Seetharkundu Resorts is family-friendly. Children below 12 stay complimentary without extra bed when sharing with parents. Family-specific activities include nature trails, plantation tours, cycling, and waterfall visits. Parents are responsible for supervising children near water and forest trails at all times.

Pets are not permitted without prior written management approval. As an eco-resort adjacent to a sensitive wildlife corridor, uncontrolled pets can disturb native wildlife and other guests. Contact us in advance to discuss your specific situation.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside rooms and all indoor areas. It is also prohibited in forest, trail, and waterfall zones due to fire risk. Designated outdoor smoking areas are provided - ask staff on arrival.

Yes. Seetharkundu Resorts welcomes all guests regardless of marital status. Valid government-issued ID is required for all adults at check-in as per standard hospitality regulations. We do not discriminate based on relationship status.

Items left behind are held at reception for 30 days and returned by courier at the guest’s expense. The resort is not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings. We recommend not carrying valuables on trail walks. Report any losses to reception immediately.

Raise concerns with resort staff at any time. For formal complaints: email info@seetharkunduresorts.com or use the Grievance Redressal process. All complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 7 working days wherever possible.
