A perfect family escape in the hills of Palakkad
One of the most peaceful getaways we have had in Kerala. The room was spacious, clean, and the balcony view of the hills in the early morning mist was simply unforgettable. Seetharkundu Waterfalls is just a short walk away and the kids absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. A hidden gem in Kollengode that every Kerala traveller should experience at least once.
Wished we had booked more nights
Came here for a quick weekend break from Coimbatore and ended up wishing we had stayed longer. The resort is very easy to reach, and once you are here, you will not want to leave. The staff were exceptionally warm, the food was fresh Kerala home cooking, and the entire resort has a genuine eco feel without compromising on comfort. The WhatsApp booking process was smooth and the team was responsive from the very start.
The plantation walk is something truly special
The plantation walk arranged by the resort was the highlight of our entire trip. Our guide explained each herbal plant in wonderful detail - it was educational, calming, and beautiful all at once. We also visited the Nelliyampathy viewpoint and the resort team planned the whole day for us without us having to ask twice. The personalised service here is on a completely different level compared to larger resort chains. Outstanding in every way.
Made our anniversary completely magical
We booked Seetharkundu Resorts for our anniversary and the team arranged a candlelight dinner on the terrace. The setting - with the Nelliyampathy hills all around and the faint sound of the waterfall in the distance - was absolutely magical. The food was delicious and the staff made sure every detail was right without being intrusive. Thank you for making it a memory we will carry with us for a lifetime.
A lovely hidden gem in Palakkad's hills
A very refreshing change from the usual tourist spots. The rooms are large and airy with a wonderful hill view, and the breakfast was wholesome, fresh, and distinctly Kerala in character. I appreciated that the resort keeps things simple and natural rather than trying to be something it is not. The one thing I would love to see in the future is more organised evening activities. Will definitely be returning with friends.
Perfect for families - kids were absolutely thrilled
We travelled with our two children, aged 7 and 10, and Seetharkundu Resorts was ideal for a family trip. The kids absolutely loved the waterfall visit and the nature trail through the plantation. The room had plenty of space for all four of us and the staff were patient and helpful with the children throughout. The complimentary pickup service from Kollengode town saved us a great deal of trouble. A truly family-friendly eco resort.
A nature photographer's paradise near Palakkad
I am a nature and wildlife photographer and Seetharkundu Resorts was a dream location for a shooting trip. The early morning light over the Nelliyampathy hills, the bird activity near the herbal plantation edge, and the waterfall during the golden hour were all extraordinary. What made it truly special was that the staff woke up early to help me reach the waterfall before sunrise without a single complaint. That level of care and dedication is genuinely rare.
Best remote work retreat I have found in Kerala
I was looking for a quiet place to disconnect from the city and work remotely for a few days. Seetharkundu Resorts delivered exactly that - reliable Wi-Fi, absolute silence except for birdsong and the waterfall, clean air, and genuinely nourishing meals three times a day. I got more done in four days here than in two weeks back in the city. The environment is deeply calming and the staff leave you to your peace without being absent when you need them.
